Whistle For a Cure SDT

We're having a novice trial at Shoofly Farm on September 20th. This trial is a fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Research, with ALL proceeds going to Joan Stout-Knight's team walking in the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Awareness Walk. Joan has been sheepdog trialing in this area for many years and has been living with ovarian cancer for over 2 years now, and several of us decided this would be a fun way to raise some money for the effort. Here are copies of the entry form and trial information, in a couple of different formats:

This is such a lovely tribute to Joan's wonderful (and inspiring) spirit. Thank you Robin. ;) I'm really looking forward to it!

Robin,
What an awesome idea! Wish I was closer. If you decide to do any in spirit entries let me know and I'd be happy to send in some "entries". I've had family members deal with this as well.

I'll be along to watch. Let me know if I can contribute anything to the concesssion stand. I'm not good at cooking anything but I'm a pretty good baker...cookies maybe???

That would be great Rachel! I forwarded your comment and email address along to Kate - she's going to be the food queen for the trial.

Hey Joan and Robin,
Hang in there! We're still in the same club. I won't be able to come up this week end. You are in our prayers. Robin, you are a great friend.
