So, if you've been following the blog, you know Bart was diagnosed with OCD and was scheduled to be on his way back out to South Dakota last week, where his breeder had offered to get him fixed up. When he was diagnosed a few weeks ago, i decided to try resting him for 4 weeks and doing Adequan injections. I hate to even say it out loud and tempt fate, but he's stayed pretty sound since starting the injections, even without being kept completely crated. I don't let him and Billy rough house, and his exercise is limited to short stints in the yard, but so far so good. So the bus to SD left without him last week. I sure hope this continues to work out! Here's a picture of the handsome devil from this past weekend, in a rare contemplative moment.

A Reprieve for Bart

What great news Robin. Hope everything turns out for the best, and Bart continues his good health. Thats a very handsome pic of the boy.
Great shot of Bart! He and Linc are so black they're almost purple! I'm glad he's gotten a reprieve - I'm pretty attached to him, and he doesn't even belong to me. ;)
